I don't let others tell me what I think. In our conformist world, that has turned me into an outcast. After years of pretending to be just another mindless drone, I feel obligated to start showing the real me. This is a personal blog where I can vent about various frustration and share a wide variety of thoughts.

Intolerant liberals are trying to kick me out of my home
I grew up in Washington. There are a lot of things that I love about this area. We have one of the best climates around. We have spectacular scenery. Unfortunately, there is one thing about our state that has been downright disastrous, our government.

My thoughts can be confusing
Admittedly, I'm not the best writer. That alone can cause problems if I try to share my thoughts. Because I tend to form my thoughts from the ground up, what I have to write can be even more confusing.

Conform or die
We are living in an era of mindless conformity. Deep down, I am an individual with a mind of my own. I clearly don't fit the mold, and intolerance runs rampant.

Like all independent thinkers, I am a social outcast
Deep down, I am a big believer in independent thought. Let me clarify what I mean by independent. I don't like to turn to others to tell me what I think. Because of this, my thought process is abnormally disconnected from the mainstream.

I hate myself... Sometimes
I'm unique. Do you know what that means? It means that I don't fit our narrow and rigid mold for social acceptability. I can take this further. It's nearly impossible for me to survive in the modern world as myself.

I like myself... sometimes
As I have stated on multiple occasions, I have been living multiple lifestyles. I like who I am deep down. Unfortunately, I have allowed society to bully me into suppressing this side of who I am.

I am not a mere product of the schools
I hate to admit it, but I possess a high school diploma. In many ways, that piece of paper feels like a curse. It completely misrepresents who I am. I am not just another mindless product of the schools. I am an individual.

People are stupid
I know I'm not perfect. For this reason, what I'm about to write could be used against me. I'm going to write it anyway because it needs to be said. People are stupid.

Political conformity
I have already talked a little about political conformity when I mentioned how people confuse issues. Political conformity in America is actually quite substantial, so I wanted to add little depth to this topic.

Confusion of issues
I am a non-conformist living in the most conformist era in history. One form of conformity is binary political conformity. If you agree with A, you must agree with B and disagree with C. If you disagree with A, you must disagree with B and agree with C. If A, B, and C are all different, then why do we treat them as connected.

My writing
I know that I have written about this before, but I want to include this issue with my series on the challenges of being me. In particular, I am going to discuss my issues with writing.

My strengths and weaknesses are not a good fit
I refuse to allow social acceptability to hinder my thought process. Because of this, I can see things that no one else can. I can see problems that elude others, and I have ideas that could help solve these problems. This has led me to one of my favorite sayings. Given the opportunity, I could change the world.

Living my life as someone I hate
I know that I've mentioned this before. For the sake of adding this to the Challenges of Being Me, I'm going to have to bring it up again. I have been living two (or more) lives.

My biggest strength and weakness
A lot of people talk about strengths and weaknesses. Years ago, I took a good hard look at myself to better understand my own strengths and weaknesses. What I noticed is that my biggest strength and my biggest weakness happen to be the same thing, my thought process.

Challenges of being me
I have periodically written posts to vent frustrations of my life. Most of these have been quick and broad statements about such things as how nobody cares about the kind of feedback I can provide about this world. I recently decided to go slightly more in depth.
