The Light House is one of the most visible components of the Playground by the Sound. It could be viewed as the centerpiece of the Tot Lot and allows children to enter through one of the sides.
This isn’t the most accessible component to the parents, but the added elevation might help offset concerns for over-protective parents. For photographers, I can imagine shots being snapped off of a child looking through one of the windows. It would be even better if they would actually finish the paint job. Have you noticed that the framed around some of the windows have not been painted?
Some children might run over some of the other components to enter the Light House. The Arched Bridge might be the most likely. With only one entry, the Light House would be the end point of the run.
