The Giant Tree Houses at the Playground by the Sound are two elevated structures in the school-aged area. They are connected with the Gertie Suspension Bridge and let children look down on the rest of the playground.
Some children might head up one side of the playground, run across, and down the other. That would make the tree houses part of their course. The Western Tree House is also the access point for the Spiral Tube Slide.
Since it provides an overlook for the children, the tree houses can be seen from most places in the playground. In fact, this is one of the easiest components to spot at a distance. This means that parents can see into the Tree Houses from a variety of locations. Among the best is along the outside by the stage (I’ll discuss this component on a later date). The Western tree house has an obstructed view above the tube slide, but moving just a little can allow you to see into it.
