Chain Ladder

No, the Chain Ladder is not a vertical ladder made out of chain. It’s more of a staircase/ladder hybrid made out of chain. There is a chain that runs along the center between the top and bottom. Across that chain, several other chains can be viewed as the rungs of the ladder.


There are also Pod Hops leading to the bottom of the Chain Ladder. This can provide a transitional element to this component.

For those who are overly safety conscious, I would like to point out that the chains are covered. This reduces the chances of painful pinching between chain links. Children should still watch their steps as they could put their feet between the chains rather than on them. Transitioning from the Pod Hops would probably increase this chance.
