The right to live vs. the right to live

Life is important, and I believe that we should have the right to live. For years, liberals have really pushed this idea, but they go too far. They have manipulated the legal system and are always looking for ways to do more to protect lives. There’s a slight problem. There will always be more that can be done.

Over the years, we have been giving up rights and having everyone imaginable held accountable when a life is lost. We can’t choose whether or not we wear seat belts. Doctors are held accountable with potential legal battles if they try to save someone’s life and fail. Manufacturers of various goods have to imagine every possible way that their products can be misused by people who lack common sense or face lawsuits. There have been numerous attempts to censor and blame video games for violent acts without any evidence of harm being caused. Businesses can fail because they receive total blame for freak accidents.

We are being overburdened by government intervention to really live life to the fullest. There are a lot of laws and regulations, and we have to spend money to prevent lawsuits and enforce the abundant laws. We don’t have the opportunity to enjoy life, and we couldn’t afford it if it was available. What’s the point of living if you’re not allowed to really live? I say that we need to ease up. The right to physically live is important, but we have to draw the line somewhere. Perhaps we should start supporting the right to really live.
