The party of integrity

My blogmate was once again stoopid enough to let me write a post on his personal blog. As we all know, my blogmate is furious with the Democrats. That alone proves that he loyally believes all the lies coming from the Republican party. I wanted to show how much better my honest Democrats are in comparison to my blogmate's gullibility.

Take a look at the presidential race between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. This was a choice between a man who never faced a scandal going up against a man who managed to avoid paying taxes. Barack Obama accomplished a lot during his time in office. He managed to get us all health insurance while allowing anyone to keep their existing plans and existing doctors if they wanted.

Then Donald Trump changed everything. He brought dishonesty to a new level, but that wasn't his only problem. Absolutely everything he ever said was racist, and he openly fueled the flames of hatred. We are talking about a man who insisted that Nazis were fine people. While liberals engaged in nothing but peaceful protests after four white police officers killed George Floyd by kneeling on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, he would invent claims such as the idea that non-existent Antifa groups were inciting violence. Keep in mind that George Floyd was the latest of incidents in which racism was a proven factor. How can we forget about Michael Brown being shot by police officers when he had his hands up? Hatred has been further fueled by such incidents such as when the MAGAts of Covington Catholic got in the face of a native American and mocked him by smirking.

One of Trump's biggest pieces of legislation was a supposed tax cut. As it turned out, it was only a tax cut for the rich. A vast majority of Americans faced higher taxes as a direct result.

There’s a reason Trump was impeached. He released a document himself in which referred to an investigation into the Biden family as a favor. This was, of course, after he shifted a discussion from Ukrainian aid to the Biden family.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Trump outright lied and called the coronavirus a hoax. He promoted dangerous solutions such as injecting people with bleach.

Problems are certainly not restricted to Trump. In fact, it's not just our country. Take a look at Canada. Truck drivers staged an anti-vax protest, and we ended up with truck drivers in Ottawa shutting down a major trade route.

When Trump ran for reelection against Joe Biden, it surprised nobody that he and his party resorted to misinformation campaigns. Among the most noteworthy is the Hunter Biden laptop story that was quickly proven to be Russian misinformation. Even if the laptop were real, it would have been irrelevant. There was nothing there that could implicate Joe.

When Trump lost, he resorted to the Big Lie. This led to his supporters trying to overthrow the government. During his coup attempt, his supporters went around beating and killing police officers.

Again, this isn’t just about Trump. Ron DeSantis pushed through legislation in Florida that he called the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The irony here is that you have to say gay just to say the name of the bill.

Fortunately, Joe Biden became our president. Under his leadership, we developed a vaccine for COVID-19 and reduced the number of deaths caused by the disease. He also managed to get the price hike caused by Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine under control.

Thanks to Republicans, public education has been defunded. That doesn't mean that our profession has become any less honest. You can trust me as much as any teacher. Republicans are all fascist white supremacist Nazi bigots attacking our freedoms.
