May 2013 Weather Summary

Early forecasts for the month of May looked bad. I wish those forecasts would have been more accurate because the weather turned out worse than I expected. How bad was it? On May 11th, we were nearly 10 points worse than the previous worst through that period.

Eventually, the weather improved with some showers and milder temperatures. Despite our horrible start, this only ranked as our 13th worst May.

Let me share a few more stats for those who are interested. Through the 6th, we were recording our worst May. We were still ranked as the worst May through the 16th. We were below 50% for the month as late as the 12th. Previously, the monthly score for May had never been below 50% after the 7th.
