The hanging pod climber consists of a series of small round platforms hanging from cables (chains, actually). Additional cables connect the platforms, reducing the amount of movement while children are on the component.
This is one of the interior components in the school-aged area. This means that parents might not get the best view of their children while they are playing here. One of the better angles would probably be behind the pod hops.
I could imagine some children running across the pod hops and keep going through the hanging pod climber (or the reverse direction).
This is another component where I have a hard time warning parents about safety due to the short distance that a child can fall. If they are crawling and grab the base, I could imagine possibly getting pinched between chain links. It could also cause problems if they tried to climb the cables.
