Most people would probably think of a double slide as two slides side-by-side or otherwise segmented. The Double-slide at the Playground by the Sound isn’t anything too big. It is merely a double-wide slide for young children.
There’s a reason that this slide is in the Tot Lot. The drop is too small for larger children to enjoy. For smaller children, it could still be enough.
Parents probably love this slide. It’s located towards the back of the playground and is unobstructed. It’s also a small enough drop that they can watch their children without having to worry about the ride being too intense for their fragile sweethearts.
