Self-evaluations can always lead to improvement

While sharing the real me was the primary purpose for my list of defining beliefs (an earlier post), there was another benefit. In order to share my beliefs, I had to figure out what they are. This lead me to a better understanding of who I really am.

The establishment of my defining beliefs could be classified as a self-evaluation. When you evaluate who you are and who you want to be, you can find strengths and deficiencies. You can build off of your strengths and address your weaknesses. Properly handled, you are almost certain to become a better person.
