It's that time again. We are in a new year, and I should use this as an opportunity to explain changes to my online presence. Admittedly, I have not done an evaluation like I normally do, but there's a reason for that. I don't need to do a proper evaluation to know about changes that will appear to my online presence.
Let me provide a little background behind this blog. I started with a long list of ideas for blog posts. I have continuously added to this list, but I have also been removing items as they have been written. I have been removing items faster than I have been adding them.
In 2024, I mostly finished my list. There are currently only a couple of lingering items that will take a little more time than usual to complete. There will be new ideas added to my list but expect to see a slowdown of new posts.
My Idea Outlet is in a very similar situation. I made it through the list of ideas I wanted to document. When I caught up, I took a break to update a personal project that I had been neglecting. During this time, I added quite a bit to my list of updates for My Idea Outlet, and there's no doubt that more ideas will come.
Work on My Idea Outlet has resumed, but it's not going to take a full year to complete my updated list. These projects will be returning to my blog but expect this to be temporary. Once I post each project that contains updates, I will stop posting for the rest of the year. At that time, I will likely have updates already in the works for next year, but posting will be on hold.
Other than addressing how to handle completed lists, I currently have no plans to make any changes this year. So let me end with a quick summary. Posts this year will likely become less frequent, and My Idea Outlet will return on a temporary basis.
