I have a confession to make. I didn't wait until the end of the year to start working on the latest version of My Idea Outlet. When combined with my desire to focus on the ideas themselves rather than details, I have managed to finish my first document.
Because I am changing the format rather than focusing on new ideas, some of this content will be redundant. In the case of my first project, I focused on my ideas for inclusionary social networking. Much of this project was included on this blog in the past.
I wanted to remind all of my reader the purpose of this change. I wanted to ensure that I could document my ideas in a manner that key components don't have to wait their turn. Instead of discussing an idea at a time like the old version, I wanted a single document for each project that could be thought of as complete.
This new approach is not intended to bring an end to me thinking about these ideas. Once a project is ready, I will move on to the next. I will take notes about additional ideas I have. This will allow me to create updated versions of each project.
I never viewed Blogger as the right platform for this project. Instead, everything went into a word processor. From there, I have converted to the standard PDF format.
