Winter 2015 Weather Summary

In case you missed it, we just finished our warmest winter on record. As I have mention many times this year, warmer temperatures tend to improve scores in the Washingtonian Weather Index during the winter. There might have been a few days when it might have been warm enough to actually hurt this score. This winter stood out for the rare winter days that had me complaining about the heat (I don't do well exposed to sunlight on days that are in the 60's). This put us at our third best winter in terms of temperature.

Precipitation was a little less noteworthy. We had less frequent but heavier rain than normal. This dropped our overall score to our 24th best.
