February 2015 Weather Summary

February was just another winter month setting records for warmth. Like usual, warm weather in winter helps the score in the Washingtonian Weather Index. This helped push us to our second best February in terms of temperature.

Abnormally temperatures don't work quite as well for warmer months, and that is something that we are currently expecting this year. While we are currently standing at #12 for our year-to-date score, I expect to drop quite a bit.

Precipitation wasn't too bad this month. We didn't exactly get the non-stop drizzle that I love, but it was enough to keep our overall score for February in the top 10. Here are the stats for the month.
