January 2014 Weather Summary

I have been referring to this as the year without a winter. With the exception of a cold snap in December and some cold weather in the forecast for February, we haven't seen winter weather. It has been dry (we might end up with drought conditions) with mild temperatures. As I expected, our lack of rain has given us a below-average score despite our solid score for temperature.


In case anybody has been following the Washingtonian Weather Index but missed a recent blog post, I have decided not to make the revision that I had been hinting at.
