If anyone has visited my Google+ profile, you might have noticed that I list the location I live in as University Place, Washington, Cascadia. I don’t care that Google+ seems unaware of Cascadia.
It’s no secret that I am not a fan of my nation. It’s also no secret that I believe in secession. I connect more with my region than my country.
When I listed my home, I didn’t want to call myself an American. I am a Cascadian.
