Washington Statehood Day

While not a big holiday that has me doing anything special, I have been known to celebrate November 11 as Washington Statehood Day. I started after I became frustrated with all of the pro-America propaganda that’s crammed down our throats on the Fourth of July. Washington Statehood Day is primarily a matter of countering propaganda.

I have been told that I should not celebrate this day because Washington should not be a state. That makes sense, but that is not why I celebrate it. Like I said, I was looking for a way to counter Forth of July propaganda. Picking a day that was specifically related to Washington seemed logical. What day should I pick? I settled on the day when the greatest state in the country became the greatest state in the country. If someone has a better idea, please let me know.

There’s actually a nice benefit of celebrating Washington Statehood Day rather than an alternative. I would love to see us break apart with Oregon and British Columbia to form our own country. When this finally happens, Washington Statehood Day will lose all value. The elimination of Forth of July propaganda in Washington would coincide with the obvious conclusion of ending the counter-propaganda.

I hope that Cascadia will become reality soon (before the debt hits especially hard). I view the holiday as temporary, and look forward to the day when I can finally set it aside. After all, I don’t want statehood. I want independence.
