Happiness is the ultimate goal in life.

To an extent, we are all selfish. We are looking for the best lives that we can have. Just about every action that we take can be linked to one selfish desire. We want ourselves to be happy.

I’m not going to go on about how we are all equally evil because I don’t believe that. Some people thrive on the misery of others and want society to collapse. Others have a strong conscience that makes them feel horrible if we are aware of anyone who has problems that we can address. Some people feel obligated to make the world a better place. Happiness can be viewed as a motivator for both good and bad, but our motivations are still coming down to our own personal happiness.
