I generally try to stay out of other states' business. What we just saw in Virginia is something that I simply can't overlook. This is quite possibly the most extreme gerrymander I have ever seen.

A one-issue candidate needs a better record on the one issue than we have seen from Inslee.

Thoughts regarding the Speaker of the House

Technically speaking, the Speaker of the House was not set up as a partisan position. The way the job has been set up, it's not all that surprising that the role has become far too partisan. That said, the process for electing a Speaker of the House has become a total joke.

There has been a lot of criticism aimed at the ruling in Kennedy v. Bremerton School District. My understanding of this case is that a high school football coach was praying on the field before football games. Others started joining him. This raised the question of whether this was a man exercising his religious freedom or if he was pushing his views onto children.

I have a decent understanding of both the pro-choice and pro-life side of the abortion debate. Because this is rare in the modern world, I have tried to avoid taking sides. Unfortunately, the pro-choice community has made this very difficult. They frequently lie about the views of the pro-choice community, and they have absurdly framed the debate as a war on women. No rational person is going to believe that a woman protecting what she perceives as the life of a little girl is doing so out of a hatred of women.

When social networking took off, I was quick to insist that I hated what social networking was, but I saw a lot of potential. I started discussing the logical evolution of social networking. Almost immediately, the entire industry stagnated.

When Democrats pushed for a boycott of Home Depot, I was openly critical. When Democrats pushed for a boycott of Soul Cycle, I was openly critical. When Democrats pushed for a boycott of Hallmark, I actually defended the idea of a boycott had Hallmark not reversed their decision. When it comes to boycotts, liberals have clearly gone overboard. That does not mean that I view boycotts as inherently wrong.

Once again, eastern Washington has threatened to leave and form its own state, Liberty. Once again, Western Washington is resorting to a series of flawed arguments. I just wanted to take some time to address some of these arguments.

In 2016, Donald Trump ran a presidential campaign as an outsider who acted like an insider. He brought an over-the-top persona to his campaigns, making him the center of attention. Most people loved him or hated him. Those who hated him divided their primary votes between the other candidates in the crowded field. In many ways, it was the crowded field that ultimately gave Trump the nomination.

Donald Trump recently questioned the credentialism of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). AOC Tweeted a reply that it was classist to judge people by their credentials.

Thoughts on the 9/29 Presidential Debate

I have an abnormal relationship with politics. I have some strong beliefs, but I have not been motivated within our two-party system. Over the years, our government has become bigger and more oppressive. This alone puts me closer to the Republicans than the Democrats, but I absolutely refuse to conform to any partisan ideology. As my fear of the government has grown stronger, I have paid closer attention to the government. It's this fear more than anything that convinced me to watch our most recent debate.
