Venting about gerrymandering

I generally try to stay out of other states' business. What we just saw in Virginia is something that I simply can't overlook. This is quite possibly the most extreme gerrymander I have ever seen.

Pseudo-reality after-the-fact interviews

Reality shows can be a somewhat tricky classification. What we normally think of when we think about reality television is essentially a season-long game show that shows more than just the games being played. I’m not entirely sure where we draw the line between reality television and gameshows.

Celebrating death

During my school years, I ran into a lot of problems. Among them was that my teachers were consistently anti-educational, intolerant, and abusive. For the purpose of this post, I want to focus on intolerance.

Where to go from freedom for some

I don't deny that this country has some truly dark moments. Slavery is a despicable act. Although slavery is not strictly racial, there were definitely racial components to our implementation. Even when slavery came to an end, we continued to treat black Americans as an inferior race.
