When George Floyd was killed in Minnesota, there was a lot of outrage. From what I saw, I could understand this outrage. I was a little more reluctant to embrace the narrative than most. We have a history of getting facts wrong relating to race, and I wasn't about to watch any video to see someone die.
I'm not the most informed on this issue, but I'm not alone. It's embarrassing that bad math resulted in 8 minutes and 46 seconds becoming symbolic. I know this does absolutely nothing to justify Chauvin's behavior, but it says a little too much about those who are speaking out. They don't care enough to get their facts right.
We have established a pattern. Liberals are quick to exploit any incident involving minorities as a means of pushing an agenda. They don't care about the facts. They don't even care about the lives lost. All they care about is forcing their views onto others.
Again, this incident looks bad. I am not writing in support of Chauvin. I will, however, write a series of posts to explain some of my unpopular opinions relating to this act.
