Sick of the Democrats

Periodically, I need to just vent. I have decided to put together several posts for that very reason. I'm not just pushing myself to open up, but I'm actually willing to go beyond what I really think on a number of issues. This is one of these posts. Expect this to turn out as an incomprehensible irrational rant.

I am not a Republican. A lot of people struggle to understand that because I have become absolutely furious with the Democrats. I have plenty of issues with the Republican party, but I frequently side with them purely because of the alternative.

I have been told my whole life that I have no right to be me. Most of my life struggles have related to the lack of a say in my own life. I have had to live the bulk of my life as someone I hate purely for the sake of survival.

The messaging from the Democrats in recent years has been that it doesn't matter if you're black, gay, transgender, or Muslim as long as we are all otherwise identical. In recent years, Democrats have tried to control:
  • What we are allowed to think
  • What we are allowed to say
  • What we are allowed to believe
  • What we are allowed to know
  • Who we are allowed to associate with
  • What we are allowed to eat
  • What we are allowed to drink
  • What, where, when, why, and how we are allowed to learn
  • Who we are allowed to vote for

Considering how much I struggle with the lack of control over my own life, I don't need this over-the-top authoritarian oppression definitional of the modern Democratic party. The Democrats are showing extreme intolerance of absolutely everyone who deviates even a little from their narrow and rigid mold. They are even turning against their own. Just look at how they have treated Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin. Sinema ultimately left the party, which predictably led to villainization by the party she continues to caucus with. Even more noteworthy was the shift towards more conservative views after the Democrats villainized Tulsi Gabbard and Elon Musk.

In many cases, this control comes from legislation, but that's not their only tactic. Democrats have nearly total control over the schools and the media. In the case of schools, a predominantly liberal profession is openly boasting that they are molding the minds of 90% of future voters. Democrats have also embraced additional social engineering tactics such as political correctness and their tax code.

For some of us, the antics of the Democratic party are downright dangerous. They run everything by assaulting the mental health of anyone who maintains any degree of individuality. In some cases, the Democrats' antics can even have lethal consequences. This can include suicides as well as violence towards others.

There are some horrible people who are members of the Republican party, and they have crossed some enormous lines in recent years. I still prefer them over the Democrats for one key reason. They don't really do anything. Not doing anything is definitely preferable to actively doing harm. Unfortunately, the Democrats ultimately get whatever they want. Republicans merely slow them down. Of course, slowing them down is at least something. I don't mind obstructing evil.

Instead of looking at this as Democrats versus Republicans, there are other ways to see our two-party system. We have the aggressive regressives and the passive regressives. We have the totalitarians and the enablers. If I absolutely must choose between the two, it's an easy choice. Just remember that my preference should not be misinterpreted as partisan loyalty or partisan conformity, two concepts that openly reject.
