I recently had an idea for a really bad and corny joke. Instead of pushing it aside, I have decided to just get it out of my system. Obviously, this is an entirely fictional scenario.
On one of my many walks, I was enjoying the bird activity. I ran into four Steller's jays up in a tree when a pair of ravens flew past. As I continued my walk, I had no problems recognizing a lone scrub Jay.
Up to this point, I had absolutely no problems or concerns. Then I saw some crows. I counted twelve of them. The first eleven paid no attention to me. That final crow, however, came right after me. Although some people may not want to hear this, I don't want to have to live my life in fear of corvid 19.
I can usually deal with murders such as this one. I just hope others don't have the same experience with corvid 19 that I had. Unfortunately, even living in another country is not enough. Corvid 19 is not endemic.
