If we want to keep people from entering the US illegally

Why would anyone want to violate American immigration law? Haven't you heard from the American media? People who come to this country illegally are placed in inhumane conditions, sometimes losing their lives. All of this is because conservatives treat immigrants horribly. At least, that's how the media is portraying it.


I'm not saying that the reality has us rolling put the red carpet. There are laws. Breaking laws results in punishments. With a lot of liberals encouraging this illegal act, many conservatives resent this segment of people living in the country.

I will admit that I'm among those who want to stop rewarding illegal activities. I personally go even further on this. Our country is overpopulated, and I prefer to reduce the rate of legal immigration as well. That said, I will not hold a grudge against anyone for entering this country legally. To me, the media could go a long way to solve our illegal immigration crisis. All they have to do is make their broadcast available in foreign countries. If potential immigrants heard what our media has to say, they would be far less interested in relocating. If this happened, maybe we wouldn't be forced to take personal responsibility for problems in foreign countries.
